Not So Muffled
Sound sculpture, 2014
About the Work
Not So Muffled is a sound sculpture that layers human breathing, soft spoken voices, and mimicked car muffler sounds into a single immersive audio piece. The work explores the tension between mechanical noise and intimate human presence, blurring the line between what is concealed and what escapes into shared space.
